Why Grammarly isn’t perfect

As a writer and editor, many things frustrate me–like the refusal to use the Oxford Comma–but Grammarly might be up there. There is an apparent distinction between an editor and a writer. I am a writer myself more than an editor. Being an editor has never been my strong suit, but I do know the elements that make up a good one. Both editorial roles and writing positions are tricky to hire for. So there is no perfect process for hiring them.
